TENTATIVE ITINERARY:

Day One – Sunday, June 1, 2025: A morning departure from NYS has you traveling to Richmond, VA for overnight lodging (luggage handling on own).

Day Two – Monday, June 2, 2025: Following BREAKFAST, check out and continue traveling to VIRGINIA'S COLONIAL TRIANGLE. Arrive at JAMESTOWN SETTLEMENT, located near the site of the original colony. JAMESTOWN SETTLEMENT TELLS THE STORY OF 17TH-CENTURY VIRGINIA; from the arrival of English colonists in Jamestown in 1607 to the cultural encounters and events that planted the seeds of a new nation. The world of Jamestown, America’s first permanent English colony, comes to life through film, gallery exhibits and outdoor living history. Climb aboard replicas of the three ships that sailed from England to Virginia in 1607 and explore life-size recreations of the colonists’ fort and a Powhatan Village. In the outdoor areas, costumed historical interpreters describe and demonstrate daily life in early 17th century Jamestown. After your visit, continue to Virginia Beach to check in to the WYNDHAM VIRGINIA BEACH OCEANFRONT for a FOUR-NIGHT STAY.  This evening’s dinner will be at FISH BONES.

Day Three – Tuesday, June 3, 2025: Enjoy BREAKFAST, then depart for a visit to the NORFOLK BOTANICAL GARDEN where you will experience the breathtaking landscapes and various gardens at your own pace. Later, enjoy the afternoon at your leisure. Relax under the sun by the beach or pool, or do some sightseeing on your own. Dinner will be at CAPTAIN GEORGE'S this evening.

Day Four – Wednesday, June 4, 2025: After BREAKFAST, you choose your day: choose to stay at the Oceanfront hotel to relax and enjoy VIRGINIA BEACH or add some excitement with a day at BUSCH GARDENS THEME PARK. Enjoy the rides, entertaining shows, and attractions at your own pace. Dinner is at your own today.

Day Five – Thursday, June 5, 2025: Folllowing BREAKFAST, depart for admission to NAUTICUS, A MARITIME SCIENCE MUSEUM IN NORFOLK. The museum celebrates the economic, naval, and natural power of the sea with exhibits, films and the HAMPTON ROADS NAVAL MUSEUM. You are also welcome to go aboard BATTLESHIP WISCONSIN which is connected to the museum. Explore the main deck and go below to learn what life was like on this great fighting lady. There will be time for lunch on your own in downtown Norfolk at the WATERSIDE DISTRICT along the Elizabeth River. Return to Virginia Beach for a free afternoon. Dinner is on your own this evening.

Day Six – Friday, June 6, 2025: After BREAKFAST, check out and travel to COLONIAL WILLIAMSBURG for a FULL DAY PASS which offers a taste of the Colonial Williamsburg experience. Start your visit of the REVOLUTIONARY CITY AT THE VISITORS CENTER WITH THE FILM, WILLIAMSBURG: STORY OF A PATRIOT for an orientation of the town. You will be able to TOUR THE GOVERNOR'S PALACE, CAPITOL, AND RALEIGH TAVERN AND LEARN OF THE DEBATES THAT RAGED IN THE YEARS LEADING TO INDEPENDENCE. Visit a trade shop or historic house and discover something about the everyday life of Williamsburg's 18th-century residents. Choose from any of the exhibition sites open during your visit and take part in scheduled programs. There will be plenty of time to enjoy lunch on your own in one of the taverns or other eateries as well as visit the shops. DINNER WILL BE AT ROCCO'S SMOKEHOUSE & GRILL. Afterwards, travel to Richmond, VA for overnight lodging. Luggage handling is on your own tonight.

Day Seven – Saturday, June 7, 2025: Following BREAKFAST, check out and depart for home with fond memories of VIRGINIA.
