While Napa is best known for its prodigious Cabernet Sauvignon production, growing conditions are favorable for a wide range of grapes. This afternoon travel to the River City and Capital of California, Sacramento. Old Sacramento was the commercial hub of the Gold Rush Era & is filled with shops, restaurants and entertainment venues yet retains 1800’s charm with original storefronts and wooden sidewalks. Later check into your hotel for an overnight stay in the “River City”.

Stop in Carson City to visit the Nevada State Railroad Museum, dedicated to educating visitors about Nevada’s rich railroad history.
