Departing from Rochester, NY, your coach will travel north along scenic routes toward Oswego on Lake Ontario. Upon arrival, your first stop will be at the H. Lee White Maritime Museum, located on the West First Street Pier overlooking Oswego Harbor. Here you can explore exhibits on the region’s rich maritime history, including artifacts, ship models, and historic vessels connected to the Oswego River, canal system, and Lake Ontario.

After your museum visit, enjoy an included lunch at one of Oswego’s popular restaurants.

Following your dining experience, head to the Fort Ontario State Historic Site, a star-shaped fort perched above Lake Ontario that has played a role in U.S. history since the French & Indian War. Visitors can tour the grounds, barracks, ramparts, and exhibits that span military periods from early colonial conflicts through World War II, including its unique history as a refugee shelter after the war.

After your historical exploration, board the coach for the return trip to Rochester, filled with memories of local heritage, lakeside views, and good food.
