TENTATIVE ITINERARY:

Day One – Friday, April 17, 2026: Depart Western New York on your LUXURY MOTORCOACH heading for Virginia with comfort stops along the way. Our first stop is a visit to the National Museum of the United States Army. A self guideD TOUR awaits. The Museum celebrates over 240 years of Army history and honors our nation’s Soldiers – past, present, and future – regular Army, Army Reserves, and the Army National Guard.  It provides the only comprehensive portrayal of Army history and traditions and offers educational experiences to illustrate the Army’s role in building and defending our nation, as well as humanitarian missions, public contributions, and technological and medical breakthroughs. After, check into the HAMPTON INN & SUITES to freshen up before heading out to The Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant for an included dinner. Savor the flavors of early America at the Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant, just footsteps from George Washington's historic estate in Mount Vernon, VA.

Day Two – Saturday, April 18, 2026: After an included breakfast at the hotel, check out and meet your Colonial Guide to begin your tour of Colonial Williamsburg including the Capitol and the Governor’s Palace. The Capitol is where Virginia patriots developed principles of self-government, individual liberty and responsible leadership.  The Governor’s Palace reflects the period of Lord Dunmore’s residence, the last English governor of the Virginia colony. After the colonists chose revolution, two commonwealth governors lived here. Virginia’s restored 18th Century Capitol showcases a variety of restored and reconstructed homes and public buildings, museums, craft shops, taverns and special entertainment in its 173-acre historic area. Enjoy lunch on your own at Merchant’s Square. Neighboring Colonial Williamsburg, Merchants Square is a remarkable example of American design, with over 40 shops and restaurants. Offering unique shopping and dining experiences in a setting of unrivaled beauty and historic charm. Later, take a Guided Tour of Jamestown Settlement. Jamestown Settlement commemorates the first permanent English settlement in the New World.  It features full-size replicas of the three ships that arrived in 1607, as nearly reconstructed as possible to show the size and hardships the hardy settlers had to face. The reconstructed Jamestown Fort is unique and seems to come to life with costumed interpreters present to perform 17th century activities and interact with the crowds. Don’t miss the Indian village and wonderful museum exhibits. Tonight, enjoy included dinner at County Grill & Smokehouse before checking in to the HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS & SUITES.

Day Three – Sunday, April 19, 2026: Enjoy included breakfast at the hotel and a leisurely morning at the beach until departure at 10:45am. The first stop today is for an INCLUDED BUFFET LUNCH AT TASTE ‘N SEE AT THE MURRAY CENTER. Take in a sample of live performances from the International Tattoo as you enjoy this specialty luncheon! After, arrive at Scope ArenA to enjoy Hullabaloo at the Scope Plaza as you make your way into the arenaExpect performances by international military bands, dancers, drill teams and some of our favorite local dancers and musicians. The Hullabaloo is a perfect opportunity to shake hands with an active-duty member of armed forces and take a selfie with a highland dancer. Enjoy International Tattoo performances from your premium reserved seats. A spectacle of military splendor – part parade, part theater, and sometimes, part circus. Tattoo features bands and military drill teams and more! Once the show concludes, arrive back at the hotel. Tonight, enjoy the Virginia Beach Boardwalk and dinner on your own. 3 miles of not only many restaurants and hotels, but also a wide array of art, museums, historic sites and events.  The popular 24-foot, 12-ton King Neptune Statue stands at the gateway to Neptune Festival Park on 31st St., while colorful fish sculptures are scattered about, and other nautical art works adorn side streets.  You can visit a video arcade, ride on a Ferris wheel at the Fun Park, or check out any of a number of live entertainment stages that host great acts throughout the busy season at 7th, 17th, 24th & 31st Streets. Museums include the Atlantic Wildfowl Museum in historic DeWitt Cottage, the Surf and Rescue Museum and more.

Day Four – Monday, April 20, 2026: After an included breakfast at the hotel, check out and travel to the National Museum of the Marine Corps at Quantico. Experience what it means to be a Marine! Enter a recruiting station. Step aboard the bus taking you to boot camp. Stand astride the famed “yellow footprints” and hear the roar of your first dreaded drill instructor issuing commands! See American history through the eyes of a marine. Learn how diversified American youngsters are transformed into self-disciplined, courageous, cohesive comrades-in-arms forever woven into the historic fabric of the Marine Corps. You will leave with an understanding of the Marine Corps motto Always Faithful “Semper Fidelis”. Watch the film “We, the Marines” movie in the Medal of Honor Theater, narrated by Academy Award winning actor and Marine, Gene Hackman, which follows the journey of Marines from boot camp to training, deployment and finally homecoming. Enjoy lunch on your own at the museum’s café at your leisure. Next, Meet your Missing in America Project guide for a guided tour of the National Memorial Cemetery at Quantico. As they guide you through the cemetery, you’ll be able to see the perfectly aligned rows, learn about the two types of gravestones that are used, and hear stories about the notable burials. Upon arriving at Section 22, you will receive an in-depth explanation of the MIAP organization and their mission. Your heart will swell with sympathy as you hear of the veterans who are no longer forgotten heroes. You will have the chance to honor those veterans by placing flags next to their graves to commemorate their service to our country. Tonight, an included dinner will be at Madigan's Waterfront, a casual riverside restaurant specializing in seafood, steaks & pasta, before we check into our hotel.

Day Five – Tuesday, April 21, 2026: We depart today for home after an INCLUDED BREAKFAST at the hotel, with comfort stops along the way!
