TENTATIVE ITINERARY:

Day One – ARRIVE PHOENIX - SCOTTSDALE: Fly to Phoenix where upon arrival you will be met by your Tour Director and transfer to your hotel in Scottsdale. This evening enjoy a Western Welcome Dinner with your fellow travelers.


Day Two – SCOTTSDALE - SEDONA - GRAND CANYON: This morning board your motorcoach and travel north to the beautiful red-rock resort city of Sedona. Enjoy a Sedona Trolley Tour featuring the Chapel of the Holy Cross and Airport Mesa for spectacular views of the Sedona area. The trolley guide will give you insight into the various rock formations indigenous cacti and history of this remarkable area. Enjoy time in Uptown Sedona filled with art galleries, shops and restaurants. Later travel through scenic Oak Creek Canyon & Kaibab National Forest to the incredible Grand Canyon National Park area and check in for a two-night stay.


Day Three – GRAND CANYON SIGHTSEEING: This morning enjoy the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park. Six million years in the making, the Grand Canyon’s dynamic colors and textures inspire reflection at natures power and beauty. Experience this one-mile deep 277-mile long chasm with its myriad of constantly changing colors and plateaus. Maybe take a hike, walk along the South Rim Trail, do a bit of shopping, explore the historic El Tovar Hotel or enjoy one of the park’s famous ice cream cones.


Day Four – GRAND CANYON - LAKE POWELL: This morning drive along the South Rim heading east to see the Grand Canyon from several points of interest and stop to see vistas from the historic Desert View Tower. Once out of the park visit famous Cameron Trading Post, well known as a stop for park explorers and Native American art. Continue north to Lake Powell, a reservoir on the Colorado River straddling the Arizona/Utah border. Enjoy a relaxing Lake Powell Cruise to Antelope Canyon & take in the breathtaking views of the second largest man-made reservoir in the US. Later check into your hotel for the next two evenings in the Lake Powell area. Dinner is included this evening.


Day Five – MONUMENT VALLEY: This morning embark on a full day adventure. Enter the Monument Valley Navajo Tribal area offering vistas of stunning rock formations on your way to Monument Valley, the most filmed area in the west & setting for many of famed director John Ford’s films. Enjoy an included lunch before a Monument Valley Scenic Drive Tour with a knowledgeable Navajo guide aboard a four-wheel vehicle. Explore the areas oddly shaped monoliths, buttes and mesas of red sandstone while learning more about the Navajo way of life. Later return to your hotel for an evening at your own pace.


Day Six – LAKE POWELL - BRYCE CANYON - ZION: Today enjoy the beautiful scenery as you travel to visit Bryce Canyon National Park, a horseshoe bowl of fanciful formations. The various shades of red, rose and pink blend magnificently with many tones of white creating breathtaking sights. The park also features thousands of delicately carved, brilliantly colored spires rising from amphitheaters. Later arrive at your hotel in the Zion National Park area.


Day Seven – ZION NATIONAL PARK - LAS VEGAS: Today visit Zion Canyon National Park, one of the oldest & most scenic National Parks in the United States. Experience a Zion Park Tram Tour to view the spectacular combination of multicolored canyons, sheer cliffs, streams, waterfalls and foliage that are all part of this beautiful park’s backdrop. Later motorcoach to the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas for your final night. Enjoy a panoramic Las Vegas City Tour featuring the Old Downtown and the Las Vegas Strip. Tonight enjoy a Farewell Dinner with your fellow travelers.


Day Eight – LAS VEGAS - HOME: Fly home filled with wonderful memories of your America’s Canyonlands Tour.
