TENTATIVE ITINERARY:

Day One – Monday, December 8, 2025: Board your LUXURY MOTOR COACH as we begin our journey. Today we travel to the GREATER BOSTON AREA, with our first stop being QUINCY MARKET for some HOLIDAY SHOPPING. For over 250 years the marketplace has played an integral role in the life of Boston’s residents.  You will feel the cobblestones beneath your feet, see roaming performers and be able to taste the wonderfully diverse ethnic foods available to you.  There are 100 shops, carts and artisans that offer treasures for you to take home with you!Next, CHECK IN at the ENCORE BOSTON HARBOR HOTEL, a 5-Star Resort. Take some time freshen up before we depart for an included DINNER at a local restaurant. The remainder of the evening is on your own as you see fit.

Day Two – Tuesday, December 9, 2025: BREAKFAST this morning is at the ENCORE before you MEET YOUR LOCAL GUIDE FOR A DAY OF TOURING. BOSTON HISTORIC-HOLIDAY GIFT BAG TOUR.  Your day will be filled with gifts and Christmas spirit as you celebrate the festivities of the holiday season!  Each guest receives a CHRISTMAS GIFT-BAG and gifts throughout the day on this delightful tour. Hear narration about Boston’s historic sites and holiday traditions.  Next, we will be treated to a one-of-a-kind GINGERBREAD LUNCH.  Celebrate the holidays by enjoying a delicious lunch followed by each person decorating a Gingerbread house. Design and decorate your own Gingerbread House with candy and frosting.  (Every guest takes their Gingerbread creation home with them.) This afternoon will be the highlight of your trip.  Attend a BOSTON POPS CHRISTMAS CONCERT at SYMPHONY HALL in BOSTON!  Your group will celebrate the splendor of the holiday season enjoying this Christmas tradition. Tonight, it’s back to your hotel to nestle in bed with visions of sugar plums (and the Boston Pops). Dinner is on your own this evening.

Day Three – Wednesday, December 10, 2025: Prior to CHECK OUT, enjoy BREAKFAST at the Encore. After, meet YOUR GUIDE at the hotel you will start with the BEACON HILL PRIVATE HOMES HOLIDAY HOUSE TOUR this morning.  This very exclusive tour is arranged for you to see the insides of these private homes.  Life on Beacon Hill, home of the Massachusetts State House, is quite elusive.  You might have heard of “looking at the world through rose-colored glasses,” but how about purple windowpanes?  You will see these famous windows with the lavender tint caused from a chemical defect in the original clear glass – now a status symbol!  Walk with your BEACON HILL “TOUR GUIDE” (home owner) down cobbled streets among beautiful brownstones each with its own characteristic style of architecture.  You will tour 3 private residences, hosted by the homeowner, and get a glimpse of life on the hill.  Each home is decorated for the holidays. Lunch will be on your own as we depart the Boston area in route back to Rochester.   

Note:  Please advise your guests that this tour includes a lot of walking.  It is a 2 hour walking tour to 3 different private homes.  If someone has any trouble walking, they will not be able to do this tour.
