TENTATIVE ITINERARY:

Day One - Depart the Rochester area for LANCASTER, PA. Upon arrival, check in to the EDEN HOTEL & RESORT. After some time to freshen-up, head to the DUTCH APPLE DINNER THEATER for the dinner theatre experience that you now love! This includes our full salad bar, classic American favorite entrees, potato and vegetable side dishes, and our delectable dessert buffet! While there, be entertained by A CHRISTMAS STORY, a seasonal favorite! With the help of Tiny Tim and the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future, grumpy Ebenezer Scrooge discovers the true spirit of the holidays. He finds it’s not too late to change and greets Christmas morning with a newfound happiness and spreads cheer to all.

Day Two - The next morning, awake to AN INCLUDED BREAKFAST before departing for the next destination. Offering a wide selection of goods, the BIRD IN HAND BAKE SHOP.  Browse their selection of breads, potato rolls, cinnamon buns, whoopie pies, gooey bottom Dutch shoo-fly pie (a specialty), cookies, and many, many more items. Also offered are a wide selection of local handmade crafts like Amish Dolls, pillowcases, pictures, candles, Amish Straw Hats, hand painted slates, and much, much more. The wide assortment fits many peoples tastes and interests.

After, travel to THE AMERICAN MUSIC THEATER FOR A PRODUCTION OF HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS. Inspired by the warmth of family Christmas traditions, Home for the Holidays celebrates the joy of the season through music, dance, and festive storytelling. Travel to Santa’s Candy Factory for a whimsical world of bright colors and playful Candy Elves and experience worshipful songs and beloved carols in a sacred setting. Enjoy your favorite holiday music performed by the AMT Orchestra, along with dazzling new sets, vibrant colors, and beautiful costumes created exclusively by the American Music Theatre team.

Before departing for home, stop at KITCHEN KETTLE VILLAGE for a chance to get lunch on your own and do a little shopping.
