TENTATIVE ITINERARY:
Day One – Monday, September 23: Travel with us to Northern Kentucky for a unique immersion in Biblical History. Your journey will take you across Ohio with stops made along the way for your comfort and lunch on your own. Prior to our arrival at the hotel, we will stop for an included dinner.
Day Two – Tuesday, September 24: Breakfast is included each morning. Today, Bible history comes to life at the Creation Museum! You will have the entire day to explore this family-friendly attraction that highlights creation science with stunning exhibits, dinosaur bones, fossils, botanical gardens, a planetarium, and petting zoo. Lunch is on own your own at the museum café. Following our visit to the Creation Museum, we will refresh at the hotel before setting sail aboard a riverboat for a dinner cruise on the Ohio River.
Day Three – Wednesday, September 25: Have You Ever Wondered . . . How big was Noah’s Ark? How did Noah fit all the animals plus feed and care for them all? How did Noah build the Ark? Our visit to the ARK Encounter will answer all of these questions and more. As you enter Noah’s world aboard the massive Ark, you’ll tour three decks filled with world-class exhibits that allow you to experience what Noah’s life may have been like. Lunch and dinner are on your own today.
Day Four – Thursday, September 26: Before departing the area, we will visit St. Mary’s Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption. A docent will lead us on a guided tour** that highlights the church's history, architecture, and art (mosaics, stained glass, and carvings). Following our visit, we will make our way back to New York, and arrive home spiritually rejuvenated from our journey.
** Docent led tours are subject to availability on the day of the visit. If a docent is not available, we will enjoy a self-guided tour.
