TENTATIVE ITINERARY:

Day One – Monday, June 17: Travel to the sandy shores of Cape Cod!  Extending some 70 miles into the sea, the Cape is home to both natural beauty and quaint colonial villages.  During our journey east, stops will be made for your comfort and lunch on your own.  Upon arrival at the Cape, we will check-in to our hotel, and you will have a chance to unwind before our included dinner. 


Day Two – Tuesday, June 18: Breakfast is included each morning at the resort. After breakfast, we will meet our step-on guide for a full day of exploring.  We’ll travel the historic Route 6A, the Old King’s Highway, a scenic byway winding through centuries of Cape Cod history.  It winds past hundreds of historic structures which characterize its early development. View a Windmill, a Cape Cod Lighthouse and visit the Cape Cod National Seashore Visitor Center.  Sand dunes and the ocean surround you as you approach “Land’s End” – Provincetown. Take some time to enjoy the wonderful variety of restaurants, shops, and galleries that make this artists/fishermen village so unique. From here guest will have a choice of either Whale Watching OR a Dune Tour. We will conclude this evening with dinner included.


Day Three – Wednesday, June 19: After breakfast we will embark the ferry to the island of Martha’s Vineyard.  Upon arrival we will board a local bus for a sightseeing tour to learn about the history and lifestyles of the islanders as we pass through Vineyard Haven. There will be free time for lunch and shopping in the historic whaling town of Edgartown.  We will complete our day on the island in Oak Bluffs, you can choose to stroll through “Cottage City” with its brightly painted cottages and decorative “gingerbread” trim. A Lobster Dinner is included this evening, but alternate entrees will be available for anyone not wishing to eat shellfish.


Day Four – Thursday, June 20: Enjoy breakfast before we check out and depart for America’s Hometown, Plymouth, MA. Board a Lobster Tales Cruise to learn about the many creatures that live-in Plymouth Harbor. Experience a "hands on" approach to see how lobsters are harvested from their natural environment. There will be time for lunch on your own on the waterfront. During your free time you may wish to walk nearby to see the newly restored Mayflower II a reproduction of the ship that brought the Pilgrims to the New World, or Plymouth Rock the traditional site of disembarkation of the Pilgrims in 1620.

Early afternoon, we will depart for home with sand in our shoes, seashells in our pockets and many fond memories.  Stops will be made for your comfort and a fast-food dinner on your own en route home.
