Day Two - Tuesday, September 17, 2024: After a hearty included breakfast buffet, we will visit the  Root's Market, home of the oldest single family-run country market in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. From its humble beginnings as a poultry auction in 1925, Root's Market has evolved over the years to become a piece of Lancaster County heritage offering fresh food, family fun and a wide variety of items for sale. There's something for everyone at Root's. Every Tuesday, Root's Market features its produce auction as well as fresh meats, deli, bakery items, flowers, handmade crafts, antiques, collectibles and household items from over 200 stand holders. Shoppers from miles around flock to Root's each week to sample the local cuisine, chat with the stand holders and unearth great bargains on everyday items. For great food, great bargains and a load of family fun, bring your family to Root's this week and experience this Lancaster County tradition for yourself! Afterwards arrive at Sight & Sound Millennium Theater for the 11am performance of DANIEL. From the fiery furnace to the infamous den of lions, DANIEL is a spectacular theatrical experience for the whole family. Witness of the Bible's most hope-filled stories as it comes to life in this brand-new original production at Sight & Sound Theater. Before departing for home enjoy lunch on your own at Kitchen Kettle Village. Kitchen Kettle Village is a place for sharing laughter, carving out family time, and relishing a Lancaster, PA hospitality experience all rolled into one quaint, walkable village of local cooks, quilters, and shopkeepers looking forward to your visit.
