TENTATIVE ITINERARY:

Day One - Tuesday, June 4, 2024: Late afternoon arrival at The Eden Resort & Suites, located at 222 Eden Road, Lancaster, PA. Convenience store on premises. Personal greeting with welcome snack upon arrival. Two restaurants and cocktail lounge on premises - Arthur's Terrace and Garfield's. Three pools, including a large indoor heated pool with whirlpool spa. Three elevators with easy access to all rooms. All interior corridors. Coffee maker and refrigerator in all rooms.

This evening, a Bird-In-Hand buffet dinner is included at the  Revere Tavern. Good food has been a tradition with the Smucker family since their great-grandparents first moved to Bird-in- Hand at the turn of the century. The Bird-in-Hand Family Restaurant takes the tradition of home-cooked recipes to an all-new level. Enjoy a tempting selection of entrees such as fried chicken, baked fish, beef pot roast, baked ham, roast turkey, pork & sauerkraut, fried shrimp, vegetables and other delicious foods. Includes soup, salad & bread bar, dessert bar and beverage. You'll never leave hungry.

Following dinner, enjoy the show, The Confession on the Revere Tavern Stage. Katie Lapp’s parents have been keeping a secret. Day Two - Wednesday, June 5, 2024: After a hearty included breakfast buffet, we will visit the  Bird In Hand Farmers Market. While touring the Pennsylvania Dutch Country, be sure to bring your group to Bird in Hand Farmers Market. You'll find a brightly lit, well-kept market featuring approximately 30 local vendors offering a wide variety of homemade baked goods, spices, bulk foods, specialty teas and coffee, fresh fruits and vegetables, canned goods and preserves, meats, cheese, nuts, dips, fudge and candy. There are handmade quilts, leather goods, wooden toys and beautiful silk flower arrangements. Watch funnel cakes, soft pretzels and fudge being made, and enjoy a delicious sandwich, homemade soup or daily luncheon special at one of our snack counters. Afterwards arrive at Sight & Sound Millennium Theater for the 11am performance of DANIEL. From the fiery furnace to the infamous den of lions, DANIEL is a spectacular theatrical experience for the whole family. Witness of the Bible's most hope-filled stories as it comes to life in this brand-new original production at Sight & Sound Theater. Before departing for home enjoy lunch on your own at Casey Jones Restaurant where you will dine in one of their two original P-70 80-ton dining cars that once rode the rails of the Pennsylvania Railroad in the early 1900's. Whether your appetite is as big as John Henry or as small as a nugget of coal, we offer fresh, fun and affordable dining that won't leave you disappointed. Enjoy jaw-dropping PA Dutch farmland views from the rail car. This is our main meal - a snack stop will be made en route home.
