TENTATIVE ITINERARY:

Day One – Wednesday, July 3 : Today is a travel day from New York to Boston, MA where you will check into the Sheraton Backbay Hotel. Tonight, you will also enjoy an included dinner at a local restaurant.


Day Two – Thursday, July 4: MEET YOUR LOCAL GUIDE AT THE HOTEL FOR A DAY OF TOURING. Embark upon the HISTORIC BOSTON TOUR.  There are so many fascinating stories to hear about!  Learn about the different districts of the city including the Back Bay where you find so many beautiful brownstones, each with its own unique architectural design.  You will also see Beacon Hill and the gold domed state house, Boston Common, America’s first public park and the Public Garden.  You of course can’t miss seeing the Old Statehouse, once headquarters for English governors and later the site where the Declaration of Independence was read to the waiting citizens of Boston.  Many, many other famous sites.  This tour will cover parts of the Freedom TrailArrive at the COMMONWEALTH PIER at WORLD TRADE CENTER to board the your  BOSTON HARBOR CRUISE SHIP.  On this 2 ½ hour cruise you will enjoy a view of Boston from the harbor, while enjoying a delicious LUNCH.  There is also music by a DJ included.   Experience a 21 GUN SALUTE, by USSCONSTITUTION CANNONS, when she reaches FORT INDEPENDENCE on CASTLE ISLAND!   Note: The Boston Harbor Cruise Ship has indoor dining rooms with air-conditioning and outdoor decks without air-conditioning.

JFK LIBRARY AND MUSEUM. The museum at the Kennedy Library captures the powerful story of the Kennedy years, giving visitors of all ages an uplifting, “first-hand” experience of President Kennedy’s life, leadership and legacy. Note:  The JFK Library is air-conditioned.

DINNER on your own in Boston. 

Arrive back at your hotel after dinner.  Your hotel is in downtown Boston.  Guests are free to enjoy the hotel amenities or explore Boston on their own tonight.

Day Three – Friday, July 5: Meet your LOCAL GUIDE for a morning of touring.  Touring today includes a DRIVING TOUR of CAMBRIDGE and HARVARD UNIVERSITY. QUINCY MARKET.  For over 250 years the marketplace has played an integral role in the life of Boston’s residents.  You will feel the cobblestones beneath your feet, see roaming performers and be able to taste the wonderfully diverse ethnic foods available to you.  There are 100 shops, carts and artisans that offer treasures for you to take home with you!
