TENTATIVE ITINERARY:

Day One – Sunday, June 25, 2023: Journey with us to the beautiful Green Mountains of Vermont. On our way to Vermont, we will make a stop in downtown Saratoga Springs, NY for lunch on your own, before continuing to our home away from home - The Pointe Hotel at the Castle Hill Resort in Ludlow, Vermont. Upon arrival we will enjoy a welcome reception, followed by dinner at the resort. 

Day Two – Monday, June 26, 2023: After breakfast, depart with our local step-on guide for a day of touring. This morning we travel to the Billings Farm and Museum.  You will have the opportunity to visit the working dairy barns, the agricultural museum and the 1890 working farmhouse where you will be treated to a ricotta cheese making demonstration.  Next we travel to the charming town of Woodstock for lunch and shopping on your own.  This afternoon we visit the Quechee Gorge Village where you can explore the Cabot Cheese Annex and conclude the day with a sampling at the Vermont Distillers.   Tonight we enjoy a delicious dinner with light music at the Castle.    

Day Three – Tuesday, June 27, 2023: Arise to breakfast at the hotel. Today we travel north into the Green Mountains of Vermont. Our first stop takes us to the Cold Hollow Cider Mill where you will learn about the production of their delicious apple cider and world famous cider donuts. Enjoy some samples before making our way to the village of Stowe where you will have time for lunch and shopping on your own. On our way out we make a stop at Ben & Jerry’s for an afternoon treat and conclude our day with a visit to the Vermont Taste Place for a planned sampling. A fabulous farewell dinner is included this evening at the hotel.

Day Four – Wednesday, June 28, 2023: After breakfast, we will check-out and depart for Weston, VT and the popular Vermont Country Store, where nostalgia reigns.  Before we depart for home, we will stop in downtown Bennington for lunch on your own that will complete your Vermont experience.
