Tuesday, June 6, 2023: We will travel with rest and food stops en route. We will travel 468 miles to our hotel for a late afternoon check-in. Dinner is included at a local restaurant.   

Wednesday, June 7, 2023: Enjoy breakfast at your leisure at the hotel. Meet our Local Guide at the hotel for a day of touring. Explore the White Mountains this morning. 

See the fields of lupines! “Paying homage to the annual blossoming of this captivating wildflower, the Fields of Lupine Blooming is a time-honored regional event. The brilliant spikes of the lupine flower carpet local fields and pastures in a rolling sea of vibrant purples, pinks, blues and whites. The long-lasting blossoms attract equally dazzling butterflies and create a breathtaking floral display against the majestic backdrop of the Franconia, Presidential, and Kinsman Mountain ranges.  Every visitor is sure to find abundant photo and recreational opportunities in the Northeast’s most spectacular mountain region.  Our local greenhouses and businesses will be offering lupine plants and seeds so you can start your own field of lupine.” Our Local Guide makes stops at different places where the lupines are known to bloom so you can take photo opporortunties.

The world's first mountain climbing Cog Railway is next! “Enjoy a scenic train ride to the Summit of Mount Washington, the Northeast's highest peak! Trains run rain, snow or shine and may be steam or diesel powered. The round-trip cog ride takes approximately three hours, generally including one hour stop at the summit. We recommend that you bring a camera and extra jacket or sweater.  Remember, some trains are fired by coal so dress accordingly ”. Box lunch is included at the Cog Railway. Dinner is included at a local restaurant.

Thursday, June 8, 2023: Enjoy breakfast at your leisure at the hotel.This morning visit a Christmas Tree Farm and take a horse drawn wagon through the Christmas tree fields! You will also hear about the Christmas Tree Farm and tree farming.

Enjoy an elegant buffet lunch at the Omni Mount Washington Luxury Resort Hotel. After lunch, enjoy a self guided tour of this historic hotel. The “ground was broken in 1900 and construction was completed in 1902. Two hundred and fifty Italian craftsmen, skilled in masonry and woodworking, were brought to Bretton Woods and housed on the grounds. A favorite New England retreat of presidents, poets and celebrities, the hotel delights every sense with enchanting music, refined dining and luxurious décor. The hotel has been host to countless celebrities, including Thomas Edison, Babe Ruth and three U.S. Presidents.”   

Continue touring through the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Return to the hotel in the afternoon. Dinner on your own at a local restaurant. 

Our local moose Tour Guide and moose tour bus will meet us at our hotel. Part of your New England experience includes an evening moose tour. See these gentle giants in their natural habitat on a three-hour riding tour. This tour varies in length depending upon how many moose you see and how early in the night you see them.

Friday, June 9, 2023: Enjoy breakfast at your leisure at the hotel. 

Visit Fadden's General Store. “Authentic, old-fashioned general store, family-owned since 1896! On-site maple sugar house, 5-time winner of  'Best Maple Syrup in New Hampshire.' Groceries, souvenirs, and the area's largest selection of maple syrup and maple sugar products.”

Travel home. We will make pay on own meal stops as well as comfort stops en route from New Hampshire.
