TENTATIVE ITINERARY:

Day One – Monday, September 14, 2026: Depart from Upstate New York and travel to the Killington/Rutland, VT area where you will check into your lodge for a two-night stay. DINNER is included this evening.


Day Two - Tuesday, September 15, 2026: Breakfast at the lodge, then depart with your local guide for a day of touring in Vermont. Your first stop will be at the MENDON MOUNTAIN ORCHARDS for the opportunity to shop for baked goods, honey, syrup, and more at this 3-generation, family orchard. Afterwards, you will visit the GORHAM COVERED BRIDGE for a photo stop. Continue to the NEW ENGLAND MAPLE MUSEUM to learn about the history of maple sugaring through exciting and educational exhibits. Enjoy some MAPLE SYRUP SAMPLES and visit the country store. Afterwards, enjoy LUNCH AT THE WAYBURY INN, which was made famous on the Bob Newhart Show. This afternoon you will visit the PULP MILL 2-LANE COVERED BRIDGE, known as Paper Mill Covered Bridge, for a photo stop. Continue to the VERMONT FLANNEL COMPANY, known for the finest, softest flannel clothing in the world since 1991. Nearby, you will find the SPADE FARM COVERED BRIDGE which crosses a storm drainage ditch. After your day of touring, enjoy dinner on your own, followed by a restful evening.


Day Three - Wednesday, September 16, 2026: After breakfast, check out and depart with your Vermont guide for New Hampshire. Your first stop will be at the PRESIDENT COOLIDGE STATE HISTORIC SITE to see his birthplace, homestead, and summer White House in unspoiled Plymouth Notch Village. Continue to WOODSTOCK for lunch on your own and time to explore this quaint village and snap a photo of the MIDDLE COVERED BRIDGE. Afterwards, you will depart for the QUECHEE COVERED BRIDGE, the only covered bridge in Vermont that a coach can go thru! You will also stop at the QUECHEE GORGE for a photo opportunity of Vermont’s “Little Grand Canyon.” Bid farewell to your guide as you depart for NEW HAMPSHIRE. Arrive at your lodging in the Waterville Valley/Gilford/Plymouth area for a two-night stay. DINNER is included this evening.


Day Four -  Thursday, September 17, 2026: Following breakfast at the inn, depart with your local New Hampshire guide for a CRUISE ON LAKE WINNIPESAUKEE ABOARD THE M/S MOUNT WASHINGTON from Weirs Beach to Wolfeboro. Arrive in WOLFEBORO for lunch on your own in this lakeside village. Later, you will stop at BLAIR COVERED BRIDGE for a photo opportunity. Continue to the WHITE MOUNTAINS VISITOR'S CENTER to view New Hampshire’s exhibits. After your rest stop, depart for your return which will take you along scenic KANCAMAGUS HIGHWAY with a PHOTO STOP AT THE PEMIGEWASSET OVERLOOK. After your day of touring, depart for dinner which has been arranged for you this evening. Return to your inn for a relaxing evening.


Day Four -  Friday, September 18, 2026: Enjoy breakfast, then check out and prepare for your departure home.
