TENTATIVE ITINERARY:

Tara, A Country Inn offers you a lasting impression of Southern Hospitality in today’s hectic world. View the owners’ private collection of museum quality items including a vast array of Gone With the Wind memorabilia, one of the largest Civil War weapons collections in the country and more. Stay the night and enjoy an experience unparalleled in country inn living. The rooms all lovingly named and appointed, reflect the decor of the fondly remembered era of the “Old South.” While at dinner, your bed linens will be turned down and homemade chocolates left by your bedside. Your stay will be completed the following morning with a bountiful hot breakfast buffet. Take a step back in time and visit Tara, A Country Inn. 

Day One – Tuesday, May 11, 2027: Upon arrival, enjoy a tour and wine tasting at Conneaut Cellars Winery, featuring an artisan approach to winemaking and distilling.  After, arrive at Tara, A Country Inn and experience a welcome video, afternoon tea and a tour of the estate.  Check-in and relax before a family-style dinner at the inn. The remainder of the evening is at your leisure.

Day Two – Wednesday, May 12, 2027: Enjoy a buffet breakfast at the inn, before check-out. Depart for Hermitage, PA for a guided tour at the Avenue of 444 Flags, serving as a tribute to all men and women who have served in the armed forces of the United States of America. Next, we’ll stop at Daffin’s Candies, a specialty shop creating high quality and locally made chocolates and other confections since 1949. Our included lunch at Thyme in Your Kitchen offers a culinary experience not to be missed. Then it’s time to sit back, relax, and leave the driving to us as we head for home. A comfort stop for a quick dinner on your own will be made enroute.
