TENTATIVE ITINERARY:

Day 1 - Begin your adventure with deluxe motorcoach transportation to LAKE GEORGE, which is nicknamed the Queen of American Lakes.  Lake George is located within the upper region of the Great Appalachian Valley and drains all the way northward into Lake Champlain and the St. Lawrence Seaway.  This evening you will enjoy a delicious dinner, followed by a relaxing evening.  Arrive at the Courtyard Lake George for your 3-night stay.

Day 2 - This morning you will enjoy breakfast at your hotel.  After breakfast, meet your guide for a tour of the Village of Lake George.  You will see the Delaware and Hudson Passenger Station, Lake George Battlefield Parks Historic District, old Warren County Courthouse Complex and the St. James Episcopal Church and United States Post Office, which are all listed on a National Register of Historic Places.  Take a ride up to Prospect Mountain, an iconic Lake George landmark, and stop at three scenic overlooks to view the lake from different vantage points.  Enjoy lunch on your own in Lake George Village.  Following your tour, enjoy a sightseeing dinner cruise on the lake to experience the lake’s amazing views.  You will be cruising north past the Lake George Club to Bolton Landing where you will see the stately Sagamore Hotel, Sea Island Camp Site, Islands with private homes and Dome Island, a wildlife refuge.

Day 3 - Following breakfast, meet your guide & depart for Lake Placid for a tour of the town that hosted the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympics.  Your tour will be complete with a trip to the Olympic Village and Ski Jump.  Also, you will visit the Ice Rink, featuring the “Miracle on Ice”, which refers to the medal round game, during the Men’s Ice Hockey Tournament, in the 1980 Olympics, where the United States beat the unbeaten Soviet hockey team for a gold medal.  Afterwards, you will meet your guide for a tour of Saratoga Springs.  The name reflects the presence of Mineral Springs in the area which has made Saratoga a popular resort and destination for over 200 years.  Drive past the famous Saratoga Race Track.  Later visit the downtown Broadway, the Historic District which consists of important public and private buildings and also, North Broadway, a residential neighborhood with many large Victorian homes.  Enjoy an included dinner with the group tonight.
