TENTATIVE ITINERARY:

Day One - Tuesday September 21, 2027:  We will depart via motor coach making pay on own comfort/meal stop en route to Lancaster, PA. 

Afternoon Hotel Check In - THE EDEN RESORT & SUITES IS LOCATED AT 222 EDEN ROAD, LANCASTER, PA. Convenience store on premises. Personal greeting with welcome snack upon arrival. Two restaurants and cocktail lounge on premises - Arthur's Terrace and Garfield's. Three pools, including large indoor heated pool with whirlpool spa. Three elevators with easy access to all rooms. All interior corridors. Coffee maker and refrigerator in all rooms.

This evening, enjoy a Down on the Farm Amish Dinner - an authentic PA Ducth Family Style meal prepared and served by an Amish family on their family farm.

Day Two - Tuesday, September 21, 2027 7:30 AM Buffet Breakfast at Eden Resort & Suites. Breakfast typically includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, breakfast potatoes, fresh seasonal fruits, pastries, doughnuts, muffins and cold cereals. Served with coffee, tea, milk and juice.

This morning, we will enjoy a guided “sweet tour” HERSHEY CHOCOLATE TOWN TOUR. You'll know you're close to Hershey when the air is filled with the sweet smell of chocolate. See the street lights shaped like chocolate kisses. Learn all about the history of this unique town and the humble beginnings of its founder, Milton Hershey on your Chocolatetown Tour.

Founders Hall Founders Hall is a stately monument to Milton and Catherine Hershey and all of the individuals involved in helping them to realize their dream of building a better life for children in need. Visitors to Founders Hall are left with a lasting impression of the Hershey’s’ philanthropy and how their generosity gave hope to so many. The building was built over a three-year period in the late 1960s and opened on September 13, 1970, as a tribute to the school’s founders, Milton S. and Catherine Hershey. Founders Hall is one of the most unique and magnificent pieces of architecture in central Pennsylvania. It is the school’s most recognizable building.

CHOCOLATE WORLD 
Visit Chocolate World and enjoy a simulated factory tour ride that takes you from the harvesting of cocoa beans to the production of Hershey's chocolate. Enjoy your free sample at the end of the ride. Then, take some time to browse through the unique shops at Chocolate World, filled with Hershey souvenirs and chocolate delicacies. Lunch will be on your own in the Food Court which offers fresh sandwiches, wraps and hot sit down meals for your enjoyment.
 

3:00 PM JONAH! at SIGHT & SOUND MILLENIUM THEATER

Following the show, we head to HERSHEY FARM RESTAURANT for a Dinner Smorgasbord. Located next to Sight & Sound Millennium Theater in the heart of Lancaster County, Hershey Farm Restaurant is the place to bring your group for friendly service and excellent food. Experience mouthwatering PA Dutch recipes on their Grand Smorgasbord featuring: golden fried chicken, freshly carved turkey, delicious ham balls, Amish stuffing, fresh vegetables, homemade mashed potatoes, hearty soups, crisp salad bar, warm breads, decadent dessert bar and much more! Make sure you leave room from their signature whoopie pies, soft baked cookies, and pies from fresh daily in their onsite bakery. After the meal is finished, your group may visit their country store, boutique, outdoor market, and bakery for over 4500 square feet of delightful shopping.

Day Three - Wednesday, September 22, 2027: BUFFET

This morning, visit Kitchen Kettle Village is a place for sharing laughter, carving out family time, and relishing a Lancaster, PA hospitality experience all rolled into one quaint, walkable village of local cooks, quilters, and shopkeepers looking forward to your visit. Whether you come for unique homemade food, shopping-locally made, or your favorite name brands, lodging or festivals, you will always find a warm smile and lots of friendly faces at Kitchen Kettle Village.

Following the Village, we head to the  BIRD IN HAND FARMERS MARKET for shopping & time for lunch on own.  The Bird-in-Hand Farmers Market is a favorite destination for locals, as well as out-of-town visitors. It features tons of delicious offerings, including fresh meats, cheese and produce, a wide variety of baked goods, chocolates and candies, bulk foods, spices, coffee and loose leaf tea, locally made chips and hard pretzels, hand-rolled soft pretzels, fresh-squeezed lemonade, apple cider, made-to-order subs, fried chicken and rows of homemade canned goods. Come for a traditional Pennsylvania Dutch style lunch or opt for something more portable, such as a soft pretzel-wrapped hotdog, and eat while you stroll the aisles in climate-controlled comfort. Looking for a gift or souvenir? The Bird-in-Hand Farmers Market offers many locally made crafts and quilts, dried and silk flower arrangements, old fashioned toys, dolls and doll clothes, quality leather goods, t-shirts, and locally themed souvenirs.
