We’re heading to MIDDLEFIELD, OH for a CLASSIC AMISH BACKROADS TOUR. We will make a coffee/rest stop en route. Meet the STEP ON GUIDE & begin touring with stops including the AMISH HOME & CRAFT BAKERY for a fresh cup of coffee and sweet treat made especially for you by Mrs. Miller. While at the Miller’s learn about how the Amish have their wedding right in their homes and other interesting facts. We’ll visit the MIDDLEFIELD ORIGINAL CHEESE CO-OP where the cheese maker will explain the cheese making process. Sample a variety of fine cheeses made right there. Hungry yet? A full AMISH WEDDING DINNER compliments our back roads tour. It’s a guarantee no one will go home hungry. Step back in time as you visit a ONE ROOM SCHOOL HOUSE. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to walk through this Amish schoolhouse. At the schoolhouse you will receive a description of how a true old fashion school is run in today. Visit the RIDGEVIEW FARM AND COUNTRY MARKET and learn more about the Amish culture. Before ending our day, we will drop back in time at THE END OF THE COMMONS STORE – the oldest operating store in Ohio. A brief comfort snack/ stop (on your own) will be made en route home.
