TENTATIVE ITINERARY:

Day 1: Travel to Baltimore for a three-night stay at the Renaissance Harborplace. Upon arrival, we will have a chance to refresh in the hotel before walking a few blocks to our welcome dinner at Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse. Fogo de Chao offers an upscale experience of all-you-can-eat meat carved tableside, plus an extensive salad bar.

Day 2: Breakfast is included at the hotel. Your morning is at leisure to explore the Inner Harbor independently before boarding an early afternoon sightseeing cruise to learn about the history of Baltimore. The afternoon includes admission to the National Aquarium - the country's first public aquarium. You will see natural exhibits that house over 9,000 creatures, including sea turtles, alligators, sharks, a myriad of fish and Atlantic bottlenose dolphins. Upon return to the hotel, you will enjoy an included 4th of July picnic on the hotel's terrace. Tonight you can watch the 4th of July Fireworks display from the comfort of your beautifully appointed rooms, or walk over to the Harbor to enjoy the festivities and outdoor performances.

Day 3: After breakfast at the hotel, start the day by exploring railroad memorabilia and historic railroad equipment in the B&O Railroad Museum. The museum was originally called the Baltimore and Ohio Transportation Museum when it opened on Independence Day, July 4, 1953. Next, learn about innovative artists at Baltimore's American Visionary Arts Museum. The Museum seeks to draw attention to America's history as a mecca for forward-looking innovators, optimists, dreamers, and doers - highlighting the sense that America is at her best when she actively remembers that many of her greatest citizens were very much self-taught, self-made pioneers. Our included lunch features "The Best of Baltimore's" Seafood at a local favorite. After lunch, we will travel to Sagamore Spirit Distillery for a tasting and tour before retiring to the hotel for a free evening. Dinner is on your own.

Day 4: Following check-out, we will conclude our time in Baltimore with a farewell brunch at Miss. Shirley's Cafe before making our way home to Western New York. Stops will be made en route for your comfort and lunch on your own.
