Depart aboard a luxury motorcoach for SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. Comfort and meal stops will be made periodically. Enjoy a stop at the UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME.

Wednesday, September 4, 2024: BREAKFAST at the hotel, check out and travel into the heart of Wisconsin, past sparkling lakes, dairy farms, and quaint towns. This afternoon arrive in La Crosse and experience a CRUISE ON THE MIGHTY MISSISSIPPI RIVER aboard an AUTHENTIC PADDLEWHEELER! Our scenic boat ride takes us through wooded bluffs, unique outcroppings and memorable wildlife areas. DINNER and overnight in La Crosse. 

Thursday, September 5, 2024: BREAKFAST at the hotel, cehck our and journey west through Minnesota, Land of 10,000 Lakes, and into SOUTH DAKOTA. This afternoon, we visit THE CORN PALACE. Enjoy a GUIDED TOUR through this most unusual building. Continue on to OACOMA FOR DINNER AND OVERNIGHT. Oacoma is a lovely town in South Dakota. The population was 386 at the 2020 census. Oacoma is located on teh west bank of the Missouri River.

Friday, September 6, 2024: BREAKFAST at the hotel before checking out and journeying west across wild South Dakota. Visit BADLANDS NATIONAL PARK, known for its colorful jaw-dropping geological rock formations. Enjoy time at the VISITOR'S CENTER followed by a scenic drive through the park. Stop at FAMOUS WALL DRUG which covers an entire city block and emplys one-third of the town's residents. Later today, we arrive in the RAPID CITY area for DINNER and a memorable three-night stay. 

Saturday, September 7, 2024: BREAKFAST at the hotel. Today we travel into the northern section of the Black Hills. Arrive in HISTORIC DEADWOOD for a GUIDED TOUR followed by free time for lunch, shopping and browsing on own along Main Street. This afternoon, we journey through scenic SPEARFISH CANYON TO SPEARFISH AND THE PLAINS WESTERN HERITAGE CENTER. Enjoy ample time to browse this fascinating museum and then enjoy a DELIGHTFUL WESTERN DINNER SHOW.

Sunday, September 8, 2024: BREAKFAST at the hotel. Enjoy the morning at MOUNT RUSHMORE NATIONAL MEMORIAL. Carved into the face of the mountain are the gigantic sculpted heads of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt. Next, we visit the imposing CRAZY HORSE MEMORIAL. This sculpture represents the North American Indians of all tribes. Later this afternoon, embark SCENIC RIDE THROUGH CUSTER STATE PARK which is the habitat of one of the world's largest free-roaming bison herds. Gather for DINNER at a local restaurant. 

Monday, September 9, 2024: BREAKFAST at the hotel and then check out of our hotel to begin our journey back east. Comfort and meal stops will be made periodically. Later this afternoon, arrive in COUNCIL BLUFFS, IOWA for the night. Enjoy an evening of fun and entertainment at HARRAH'S CASINO HOTEL.

Tuesday, September 10, 2024: BREAKFAST at the hotel and then check out to travel across the Midwest and into DES MOINES, IOWA for a stop at the lovely STATE CAPITOL BUILDING. We will continue on to CHESTERTON, INDIANA for the final overnight. 

Wednesday, September 11, 2024: BREAKFAST at the hotel and then check out of the hotel. Our Wild West Adventure comes to an end today. We return with fond memories of this exciting and beautiful trip. Return home to Western New York.
