Early morning departure from our convenient WNY departures. We will make a comfort stop and pay on own lunch stop en route. DINNER is included before we FERRY TO MACKINAC ISLAND, MICHIGAN. We will CHECK INTO THE MURRAY HOTEL FOR 3 NIGHTS ON MACKINAC ISLAND. Situated in the vibrant heart of Mackinac Island, the Murray Hotel is conveniently positioned right across from the Mackinac Ferry (Star Line) Dock, placing you steps away from island adventures. Well appointed Victorian/Historic rooms set the tone for this fantastic summer excursion.

Tuesday, August 27, 2024: BREAKFAST is included at the hotel this morning. Enjoy a lovely CARRIAGE TOUR OF MACKINAC ISLAND with today's feature being the included LUNCHEON BUFFET AT THE GRAND HOTEL. Following lunch, the remainder of the day/evening is yours to explore. The Murray HOtel is conveniently located on the Island. Also, be sure to pick up some fudge at the Murray Hotel Fudge Co. shop!

Wednesday, August 28, 2024: BREAKFAST at the hotel. Today is your day of leisure. For centuries, visitors have enjoyed this national treasure that's home to historic Fort Mackinac, world-famous Mackinac Island fudge and car-free streets full of horse-drawn carriages. This ideal vacation spot is a paradise of exploration with incredible natural landmarks, awe-inspiring sunrises and unforgettable sunsets. There's unique shopping, diverse dining and extraordinary nightlife, too. No wonder Travel + Leisure rank Mackinac Island the Best Island in the Continental U.S. DINNER is included this evening at a Mackinac Island Restaurant.

Thursday, August 29, 2024: BREAKFAST at the hotel. We will prepare for check out and ferry ride to Mackinaw City, MI. Upon our arrival on the mainland relaxed and refreshed, we will reboard our motorcoach and depart for Frankenmuth, MI. We will make a pay on your own lunch stop en route. Upon arrival, we will participate in PRETZEL MAKING EXPERIENCE - tap into Frankenmuth's cultural roots by becoming a German baker for a day. The pretzel-rolling experience offers a hands-on you certainly won't forget. We will take a ONE HOUR HISTORICAL NARRATED TOUR ABOARD THE BAVARIAN BELLE RIVERBOAT in the Frankenmuth area on a fully restored 150-passenger vessel. The Bavarian Belle is open air canopied on the upper deck and has a fully enclosed lower salon with restrooms. They offer snack bar and soft drinks on board. The Bavarian Belle is in the River Place Shopping village, docking at the waterfall. The dock and lower level are handicap accessible. What a wonderful way to end the day before we CHECK INTO THE DRURY INN AND SUITES FOR 1 NIGHT. Stop by the DRURY KICKBACK RECEPTION where a drink and light snacks are included. FAMOUS CHICKEN DINNER AT THE BAVARIAN INN is included this evening as our finale dinner. 

Friday, August 30, 2024: BREAKFAST at the hotel and then check out. This morning, we will visit the famous BRONNER'S CHRISTMAS WONDERLAND - THE WORLD'S LARGEST CHRISTMAS STORE. Bronner's features a fantastic selection of Christmas ornaments, trims, trees, Christmas lights, nativities, and collectibles. Christmas cards, garlands, stockings, Advent calendars, and wreaths are also among the many items available. Of the more than 6,000 styles of ornaments which Bronner's carries, half of the glass ornaments are Bronner's exclusive designs. Following our visit, we will depart for home traveling through Canada, making pay on own lunch and comfort stop(s) en route.
