A morning departure from New York has you traveling to Boston, Massachusetts. We will make comfort stops and pay on your own lunch stop en route to the hotel. DINNER this evening is included at a local restaurant. 

Thursday, July 4, 2024: After BREAKFAST, meet your LOCAL GUIDE for a day of touring, this is a narrated driving tour aboard the motorcoach. Embark upon the HISTORIC BOSTON TOUR. There are so many fascinating stories to hear about! Learn about the different districts of the city including the BACK BAY where you find so many beautiful brownstones, each with its own unique architectural design. You will also see BEACON HILL and the gold domed state house, BOSTON COMMON, America's first public park and the PUBLIC GARDEN. You of course can't miss seeing the OLD STATEHOUSE, once headquarters for English governors and later the site where the DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE was read to the waiting citizens of Boston. Many, many other famous sites. This tour will cover parts of the FREEDOM TRAIL. Following the tour, arrive at the COMMONWEALTH PIER at WORLD TRADE CENTER to board the BOSTON HARBOR CRUISE. On this 2 1/2 hour cruise you will enjoy a view of Boston from the harbor, while enjoying a delicious LUNCH. There is also music by a DJ included. Experience a 21 GUN SALUTE, by USS CONSTITUTION CANNONS, when she reaches FORT INDEPENDENCE on CASTLE ISLAND! Note: The Boston Harbor Cruise Ship has indoor dining rooms with air-conditioning and outdoor decks. After our boat ride, we will head to the JFK LIBRARY AND MUSEUM. The museum at the Kennedy Library captures the powerful story of the Kennedy legacy. The JFK library is air-conditioned. Dinner is on your own this evening in Boston. Arrive back at your hotel after dinner. Your hotel is in downtown Boston. Guests are free to enjoy the hotel amentities or explore Boston on your own tonight. Your guide can help with suggestions. There is a FIREWORKS SPECTACULAR this evening! Your tour guide will meet any guests that wish to walk to a spot where the fireworks can b e viewed from. This will be about 4-5 blocks from the hotel. 

Friday, July 5, 2024: After BREAKFAST, we will meet our LOCAL GUIDE for a morning of touring. This is a DRIVING TOUR of CAMBRIDGE AND HARVARD UNIVERSITY. Next, experience QUINCY MARKET. For over 250 years the marketplace has played an integral role in the life of Bosotn's residents. You will feel the cobblestones beneath your feet, see roaming performers, and be able to taste the wonderfully diverse ethnic foods available to you. There are 100 shops, carts, and artisans that offer treasures for you to take home with you! Quincy market is an indoor/outdoor venue, indoors is air-conditioned. Following some time at the market, we will then journey home. We will make food and comfort stop(s) along the way.
