Pit       TENTATIVE ITINERARY:

Monday, December 1: An early morning departure has you heading to your overnight stop where lodging has been arranged for you this evening. Dinner is on your own this evening en route. We will make comfort stops en route. 

Tuesday, December 2: Following BREAKFAST, check out and travel to ASHEVILLE, NC. Upon arrival you will check into your hotel and freshen up before DINNER in the area.

Wednesday, December 3: Enjoy BREAKFAST at your hotel, then board your motorcoach and depart for the BILTMORE ESTATE. Explore the stories of the Vanderbilt Family, their guests and employees through displays of vintage clothing, accessories, art, furniture and more when visiting the CONSERVATORY AND ANTLER HILL VILLAGE, which connects the estate's past and present with dining, shopping, and exhibits. The Winery shop has a distinctive portfolio of multi-award winning reds, whites, and roses. THS EVENING'S DINNER WILL BE AT THE STABLE CAFE ON THE GROUNDS OF THE BILTMORE ESTATE and will consist of Southern-style entrees and Appalachian specialties. The highlight of your visit to Asheville will be the CANDLELIGHT CHRISTMAS EVENING AUDIO TOUR OF BILTMORE HOUSE, which is completely illuminated with candles and soft lights as it did when George Vanderbilt officially opened the home on Christmas Eve 1895.

Thursday, December 4: After BREAKFAST, depart for the Asheville Visitors Center to meet your guide for a HISTORICAL TOUR OF ASHEVILLE which will include a visit to the FOLK ART CENTER. After the tour, stop at the GROVE ARCADE, which features the region's fabulous foods, delicious dining, and local crafts. Afterwards, visit BILTMORE VILLAGE, which was built in the 1890's as a classic planned community at the entrance to George Vanderbilt's Biltmore Estate. Visit its retailers and fine restaurants. This evening, you will enjoy DINNER FOLLOWED BY AN EVENING OF ENTERTAINMENT.

Friday, December 5: Enjoy BREAKFAST, then check out and travel to your overnight stop where lodging awaits your arrival. Dinner is on your own this evening as we make stops along the way.

Saturday, December 6: Enjoy BREAKFAST, check out and prepare for your departure home with fond memories of your trip to Asheville, NC.
