The 2024 CHAUTAUQUA INSTITUTION season opens with a Chautauqua special event - THE UNITED STATES ARMY FIELD BAND AT THE CHAUTAUQUA INSTITUTION - known as AMERICA'S BIG BAND. Chautauqua opens the 2024 season with The Soldiers' Chorus of the U.S. Army Field Band. This 29-member chorus travels throughout the nation and abroad and is a mainstay of PBS's annual National Memorial Day concert, inspiring and garnering a reputation for music excellence. LUNCH in included (11 AM) at the CHAUTAUQUA HARBOR HOTEL in Celeron, NY prior to our visit & admission into the Institution. Show is general admission - 2:30 pm performance.

NOTE: Seating for hte show is general admission. There will be time to pick out good seats when you arrive. You may want to bring a seat cushion, blanket, and jacket as you will want to get to the amphitheater early.
