Our first stop of the day is the JELL-O MUSEUM AND GALLERY along with the LeRoy House. Explore the 100-year history of America's Most Famous Dessert! Take a guided tour and view the original advertising art, molds, spoons, toys, collectibles, recipe books, Canadian advertising magazine ads, package inserts and memorabilia. Tell us your Jell-o story and share your favorite recipe. A SIT DOWN LUNCH is included at the D & R DEPOT RESTAURANT. This afternoon, we will visit the GENESEE COUNTRY VILLAGE AND MUSEUM, the nation's 3rd largest living history museum! Step back in time at this 19th-century living history museum covering more than 600 acres located in the small hamlet of Mumford, New York. There isn't a more engaging way to explore this extraordinary village than being ESCORTED ON THE TROLLEY WITH YOUR OWN PERSONAL TOUR GUIDE. Travel back in time with this 19th-century costumed interpreter. Guests are welcome and encouraged to exit the trolley once the one-house tour is complete to explore inside the shops and homes and meet the interpreters that bring the village alive. The trolley will continue to circle the village for the group to utilize during their self-guided walking portion. Be sure to make a stop by the gift shop before leaving the museum. En route home, we will stop by OLIVER'S CANDIES to purchase some great treats to bring home.
NOTE: Walking required throughout the museum. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.
