TENTATIVE ITINERARY:
Sunday, December 3, 2023: Depart aboard a luxury motorcoach and travel through Pennsylvania, Maryland and into Virginia’s Historic Triangle which encompasses Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown.  Rest and meal stops will be made periodically.  We will be traveling directly to our destination today.  By late afternoon we arrive in Williamsburg for a memorable three-night stay.  Dinner will be included either at destination or en route.

Monday, December 4, 2023: Breakfast included. Located on over 300 acres, Colonial Williamsburg re-creates the spirit and culture of everyday life in the 18^th century capital of Virginia.  Enjoy the day at Colonial Williamsburg and step back in time to the 1700s, as costumed interpreters go about their everyday duties.  A guided tour through this living-history museum will feature the main attractions.  Enjoy the afternoon at leisure visiting additional exhibition buildings, witnessing various performances depicting aspects of colonial life or browsing the quaint shops and boutiques in Merchants Square located within the historic area, near the College of William and Mary. This evening we gather for a candlelight dinner at Christiana Campbell’s Tavern in Colonial Williamsburg.

Tuesday, December 5, 2023: This morning, after our included breakfast, we leave Williamsburg and travel to Jamestown.  Founded in 1607, Jamestown was America’s first permanent English colony.  Enjoy a stop at Jamestown Settlement, established in 1957 to celebrate the 350^th anniversary of Jamestown’s founding.  Exhibits trace Jamestown’s origins in England and the first century of Virginia’s colony.  Witness a glass-blowing demonstration at The Glasshouse of 1607.  This afternoon we visit Yorktown Battlefield, site of the last major battle of the Revolutionary War which occurred in 1781. Enjoy free time to explore the American Revolution Museum which highlights the events leading up to the colonists’ declaration of independence from Britain. Later today we visit “Busch Gardens Christmas Town” - a magical experience with over 10 million Christmas lights with festive food and beverages (for purchase), shows and shopping that make the spirit of the season come alive!

Wednesday, December 6, 2023: Following included breakfast we depart Williamsburg and begin our journey home. Comfort and meal stops will be made periodically.  Arrive back in home later this evening.
