TENTATIVE ITINERARY:

Day 1 – Monday, September 28, 2026: With a morning departure and relaxing motor coach travel to the scenic Hudson Valley. Lunch en route (at own expense). Arrive in Fishkill and check into your accommodations for three nights at the HYATT HOUSE, FISHKILL. This all-suite hotel offers comfortable rooms and modern amenities for a restful stay. Enjoy a casual WELCOME DINNER AT THE I-84 DINER, a Hudson Valley favorite serving classic American comfort food.

Day 2 – Tuesday, September 29, 2026: Begin the day with a HOT BREAKFAST AT THE HOTEL. Today, we travel with a LOCAL STEP ON GUIDE to enjoy the Hudson Valley sites. Step into the opulence of the Gilded Age with a guided tour of VANDERBILT MANSION, HYDE PARK – National Historic Site, once the home of Frederick and Louise Vanderbilt. The mansion showcases lavish interiors, beautiful gardens, and sweeping views of the Hudson River. Enjoy lunch on your own at the Eveready Diner, a classic retro-style diner known for its hearty portions and nostalgic atmosphere. Next we will visit SPRINGWOOD, HYDE PARK, the boyhood home and lifelong residence of Franklin D. Roosevelt, where America’s only four-term president lived and entertained world leaders. The home offers an intimate look at his personal and political life. Next, we will visit the FDR PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY & MUSEUM – The first U.S. Presidential library, designed by FDR himself, features fascinating exhibits on his presidency, World War II, and the New Deal, as well as personal artifacts from Eleanor Roosevelt. Our highlight of the day is our visit to the CULINARY INSTITUTE OF AMERICA (CIA) - meet the students from one of the world’s most prestigious culinary schools, learn about their rigorous program, and participate in a unique tasting exercise designed to sharpen your palate. We will savor a remarkable DINING EXPERIENCE at one of the CIA’s student-run restaurants, where future chefs put their skills to the test.

Day 3 – Wednesday, September 30, 2026: Enjoy a HOT BREAKFAST AT THE HOTEL before we begin another great day of sightseeing with our local GUIDE. Visit the U.S. MILITARY ACADEMY AT WEST POINT – Take a 90-minute guided tour of America’s oldest military academy, founded in 1802. Learn about its rich history, explore its breathtaking campus, and see landmarks such as Cadet Chapel and Trophy Point overlooking the Hudson River. Explore America’s oldest military museum, THE WEST POINT MUSEUM filled with historic weapons, uniforms, and artifacts that tell the story of the nation’s military heritage. NOTE: PASSPORT OR REAL I.D. REQUIRED FOR ENTRANCE TO WEST POINT. PLEASE PROVIDE I.D. NUMBER AT TIME OF BOOKING. Lunch on your own at the Alexis Diner in Newburgh, a local institution offering a wide variety of fresh and flavorful dishes. Relax on a 2-hour narrated cruise along the majestic Hudson River aboard the PRIDE OF THE HUDSON RIVER CRUISE – Pass by historic sites, charming towns, and dramatic natural scenery, including views of Bannerman’s Castle and Storm King Mountain. DINNER AT BLU POINTE RESTAURANT, NEWBURGH (included) – Conclude your day with a memorable finale dinner on the Hudson River waterfront. Choose from an enticing menu of fresh seafood and farm-to-table specialties while enjoying stunning views of the river.

Day 4 – Thursday, October 1, 2026: Enjoy your final HOT BREAKFAST AT THE HOTEL. Stroll across the world’s longest elevated pedestrian bridge, WALKWAY OVER THE HUDSON soaring 212 feet above the Hudson River.
