TENTATIVE ITINERARY:

Day One - Monday, June 22, 2026: We will depart for Cape Cod, making pay on own lunch stop and comfort stop(s) en route. Welcome to the sandy shores of CAPE COD. Extending some 70 miles into the sea, the Cape is home to both natural beauty and quaint colonial villages. You can walk pristine beaches, revel in the arts and culture, and reclaim childhood memories of seashells, sandcastles, and saltwater taffy. Your LOCAL GUIDEwill meet you at the FAIRFIELD INN HYANNIS and assist with check-in. DINNER is included this evening at a local restaurant.

Day Two - Tuesday, June 23, 2026: BREAKFAST is included this morning at your hotel. A Local Guide will meet us at our hotel for a full day of touring. We will travel historic Route 6A, the Old King’s Highway, a scenic byway winding through centuries of Cape Cod history. It winds past hundreds of historic structures which characterize its early development. View a Windmill, a Cape Cod Lighthouse and visit the CAPE COD NATIONAL SEASHORE VISITOR'S CENTER. Sand dunes and the ocean surround you as you approach “Land’s End” – PROVINCETOWN. You are now at the extreme tip of Cape Cod. Formerly known as the “Province Lands” the Pilgrims landed here first before they decided to settle across the Bay in Plymouth. Take some time to enjoy the wonderful variety of restaurants, shops, and galleries that make this artists/fishermen village so unique.

Make this tour your own by choosing your afternoon!

WHALE WATCH OR DUNE TOUR (CHOICE DUE AT TIME OF RESERVATION)

This afternoon you may choose to board an excursion vessel for an amazing experience of WHALE WATCHING (3 hours). You will travel into the natural habitat of a diverse marine environment including birds that migrate here from all over the Atlantic, and fish which use these shallow waters to feed.  Try to spot Humpback, Minke, and Fin Whales going about their daily business. An onboard naturalist will introduce you to everything you see and will answer any of your questions about the whales, birds, fish and lighthouses.

OR

You may choose to stay on dry land. Admission is included on a DUNE TOUR excursion. Ride through the protected lands of the Cape Cod National Seashore, the largest protected coastline in the country. Your driver/guide will point out the “dune shacks” where famous artists and writers became inspired to create their art.

DINNER is included this evening.

Day Three - Wednesday, June 24, 2026: BREAKFAST is included this morning at your hotel. Martha's Vineyard Day. Our Local Guide will meet us at our hotel and will escort us to the HY-LINE DOCKS for ticketing and boarding of the HIGH-SPEED FERRY to the island of MARTHA'S VINEYARD. Upon arrival, you will board a local bus for a SIGHTSEEING TOUR. You will learn about the history and lifestyles of the islanders as you pass through Vineyard Haven. There will be free time for lunch and shopping in the historic whaling town of Edgartown. Complete your day on the island in Oak Bluffs. You may choose to stroll through “Cottage City” with its brightly painted cottages and decorative “gingerbread” trim. DINNER is included back on the mainland.

Day Four - Thursday, June 25, 2026: BREAKFAST is included this morning at your hotel. Check out of hotel and travel to America's Hometown - Plymouth. Home of our Pilgrim Fathers and one of the country's first settlements, it is well known in the United States for its historical value. Board the PILGRIM BELLE, a traditional paddlewheel boat, for a PLYMOUTH HARBOR CRUISE. This 75-minute, narrated cruise includes views of the Mayflower II, Bug Light, The Gurnet, and Clark's Island. Back on land, a picture stop will be made at Plymouth Rock, the traditional site of disembarkation of the Pilgrims in 1620. View the newly restored Mayflower II, a reproduction of the ship that brought the Pilgrims to the New World. There will be time for an early lunch on your own on the waterfront.

Depart for home with sand in your shoes, seashells in your pocket and many fond memories of your Scenic Excursions tour to Cape Cod. We will travel home, making a pay on own meal stop and comfort stops en route. Estimated time of arrival home is 9 pm.
