There is no better time of the year to be out on Canandaigua Lake but the summer months. The blooms are first this morning We will visit Sonnenberg Gardens. Nestled in the picturesque Finger Lakes region is Sonnenberg Gardens and Manion State Historic Park.  This is one of a few remaining estates with a Tudor Mansion and formal public gardens in the United States.  Built in 1887, Sonnenberg Gardens includes a 40-room Mansion and 17 other estate structures offering visitors a glimpse of what life was like in the late 19^th century.  The 50-acre estate boasts 9 formal gardens representing many cultures in historic periods.   Our visit includes a     short mansion tour, &  time to tour the gardens.  There is limited trolley space available for those who may find the walk through the gardens challenging.  Please advise if you would like to reserve the tram – limited to 14 people.  Next, eNJOY A RELAXING CRUISE ON CANANDAIGUA LAKE aboard the canandaigua lady. The Canandaigua Lady is a 19th century steamboat replica and an authentic double-decker paddle wheeler. Docking on the Northern Shoreline of Canandaigua Lake since 1989, the Lady is a proud successor to locally famous steamboats that operated on the Finger Lakes between 1820 and 1930. At one time, there were 19 steamboats that operated as the primary means of transportation, as there were no roads along the lake at the time. The Canandaigua Lady boat tour is an attraction that is memorable for all!     BOX Lunch is included on board the canandaigua lady paddlewheeler.     an Ice cream treat is included at SCOOPS INCE CREAM this afternoon.
