Take a tour across the border to Hamilton Ontario to have a day full of history and gardens. Begin your day with a hands-on cooking class at MACNAB’S KITCHEN at DUNDURN CASTLE. Under the guidance of Dundurn’s cook demonstrators, you will work together to make a traditional recipe in the historic kitchen. You will also get a guided tour of DUNDURN CASTLE which is an 18,000 square foot villa built in the 1800s and today is a National Historic Site of Canada. After your cooking class, head to the ROYAL BOTANICAL GARDENS, Canada's largest botanical garden. First you will be greeted with an included box lunch. Enjoy a guided tour of the Rose Garden which is a vibrant and meticulously curated space located within Hendrie Park. This garden showcases a diverse collection of rose varieties, offering visitors a sensory experience with its rich colors, delightful fragrances, and tranquil ambiance. Following Hendrie Park, Explore the oldest garden at the RBG, David Braley & Nancy Gordon Rock Garden. This garden is a horticultural destination that seamlessly blends historical charm with modern sustainable design. This garden showcases a diverse collection of rose varieties, offering visitors a sensory experience with its rich colors, delightful fragrances, and tranquil ambiance.
